Michele M. Bowman lives in Santa Fe, NM with her dog Delaney. A corporate lawyer by day (and sometimes night), she writes and makes Pages whenever she can.
She holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro, where she was honored to work with poet Stuart Dischell and the late Fred Chappell. Originally from Arkansas, Michele grew up in Texas and learned from her family how to ride horses and love dogs. She lived in New York City for 20 years, wearing cowboy boots on 8th Avenue, writing for a living, and playing in all kinds of bands. She possesses a typewriter and reads an actual newspaper every day, and she loves books and bags of all kinds. She’s published poems in literary journals including Field, Midwest Quarterly, and The Greensboro Review, and is currently working on several collections of Pages and serializing a “fictional scrapbook” in the form of a novel on the Substack.
